Veterans and Wounded Warriors prior to OIF/OEF

Mercy Medical Airlift (MMA) has been providing air transportation for all veterans and their families for over 30 years.  Air Compassion for Veterans (ACV), a program administered by MMA, began servicing OIF/OEF wounded warriors, veterans and their adversely affected family members in November 2006, funded by the California Community Foundation.

On November 2007 ACV started taking over flights for veterans that served prior to the OIF/OEF war. Many times these “older” wounded warriors and veterans need continual treatment and therapy. Many have found it difficult to secure transportation to their long distance care centers. We supply their transportation needs at no cost other than air ambulance which is available at a major discount.

As fellow Americans we are obligated to show these incredible servicemen and women the respect and gratitude they so deserve, and make sure they get the medical treatment they need.
