The mission and purpose of the Iraq Afghanistan Deployment Impact Fund is to expand assistance to American military personnel and/or their families or critical care givers who have unmet needs due to death, injury, or other physical or mental detriment, or financial hardship, as a result of service in Iraq (OIF) or Afghanistan (OEF), who may include active duty, reserve, National Guard, and veteran service members.
